SUNDAY, March 3, 2019- SATURDAY, March 9, 2019

 

Our next Sunday Service will be Communion Under Special Circumstances, The First Sunday of Lent.  Pat Avery will be leading the Service.

 

 

Readings will be: Deuteronomy 26:1-11, Psalm 91:1-2,9-16, Romans 10:8b-13, Gospel Luke 4:1-13

The Diocesan Prayer Calendar ask us to pray for:
St. Paul's, Sparks, NV-The Rev. Kirk Woodcliff, Rector and The Episcopal Ecological Network.

Remember in our prayers:

March 6, 2019 is Ash Wednesday: The Very Rev. Trudy Erquiaga will be doing the Disposition of Ashes, at 6 PM.

St. Hugh’s will be having Wednesday night services during Lent.  They will begin at 6:30 pm. 

Please join the Outreach Center for Free Breakfast, March 13, 2019.  The hours for breakfast 8:30 to 11:00 am.  Bring a neighbor to breakfast!

Please join the Outreach Center for Free Lunch, March 27, 2019. The hours for lunch are 11 AM to 1 PM.  Bring a neighbor to lunch!

We are asking for donations of food items that are used during our breakfast and lunch at the Outreach Center.  Food items needed: eggs, bacon, pancake mix, butter, hotdogs, hotdog buns, relish, chips, etc.  Thank you, Marje and Richard, for your generous donations.

Happy Birthday to Bruce Person (3/15), Susan Dunham (3/9), and Kathy Wilson (3/18). 

Come join us for the Way of Love Workshop. This is held on the first and third Wednesdays of the month.  It starts at 10:00am. And lasts approx. 90 minutes.  Written materials will be provided.  We look forward to seeing you there.  Marilyn will be leading the workshop this week.
